How JuiceDefender helped me to solve my Android Phone Battery Problem
JuiceDefender - battery saver | Battery manager app for Android:
Over the last few days, since I got this new android phone, had a problem with the battery. Keep the phone up for a couple of hours, the battery would run down. Looking for solution at a couple of places (e.g., the wonderful androidforum) led me to download and use JuiceDefender free.
Great programme, download, install and use. Keeps battery use really low, and prolongs battery life. Sweet.

Last month, at the Google Maps Meeting in Sydney, I learned about ODKCollect, an android app that makes form based data collection so much more easy. This one goes a step further, you can actually do some cool stuff. Something to play with and get to work.

Do this to check which apps are draining the battery:
Menu Button >> Settings >> About Phone >> Battery Use
Do this to manage:
1. Force Stop the App that you are not using but draining a lot of battery
Got a new android phone that was draining battery power right on the first day. Hopefully this will address some of the problems. Otherwise the phone is good.
